At Emmanuel Baptist Church, we’re committed to raising up the next generation of disciple-makers—leaders who walk confidently in their faith, grounded in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit. We take our model of discipleship straight from Jesus' command in Matthew 28.
Matthew 28:18-20 says “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Each student will focus on three areas of study during the yearlong program and earn two separate credentials.

Leadership:
Church ministry can take many forms, but what does it really look like from the perspective of a minister? This year, you’ll learn the foundations of general ministry—how to build authentic relationships, walk alongside those you disciple, and lead with purpose. By the end of the year, you'll have a solid understanding of church ministry and the skills to teach and equip others to do the same.

Spiritual Growth:
Your relationship with the Lord is the most important one you’ll ever have. As a student, you’ll read through the entire Bible in a year and choose a discipleship track that fits your ministry focus. Each track includes an online Bible course designed to guide you through Scripture and help you grow in your understanding of that specific area of ministry.

Alongside spiritual growth, you’ll also focus on personal development through regular exercise, reading, and goal-setting to help you grow in both life and ministry.
