Fact Check Your Faith

1 John 4:1 warns us: "Do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God."

Here's the reality: there are two kingdoms operating in this world. The world's system puts self at the center, chases comfort over holiness, and calls evil good. But the Kingdom of God flips everything upside down - it's about servanthood, sacrifice, humility, and living for eternity.

So how do you fact-check what you're hearing?

THE GOSPEL TEST: What do they believe about Jesus? Is He Lord, eternal, the only way to salvation?

THE KINGDOM TEST: Which system do they operate in? Are they promoting self or surrender?

THE SCRIPTURE TEST: Do they submit to God's Word, especially when confronted with error?

You can't improve what you don't measure. It's time to measure what you're believing against the truth of Scripture. The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit in the world - but you have to test everything.
