The Kingdom Behind the Chaos

May 3, 2026    Andrew Scott

In Revelation 9, the fifth and sixth trumpets reveal a terrifying picture of judgment, demonic torment, and death. Yet even in the darkest scenes of Revelation, we are reminded that evil is not sovereign—God is. The powers of darkness are real and destructive, but they are also limited by the authority of God.

This sermon explores how Revelation 9 exposes the true end of rebellion against God. Sin promises freedom, security, and life, but apart from Christ, it leads only to bondage, torment, and destruction. For believers, this passage is not meant to produce fear or speculation, but faithful endurance. The safest place to be is not in the comfort of the world, but sealed by God and loyal to the Lamb.
